Job summary

SEDA-Council of Governments seeks a full-time Program Manager for the Export Development Program. The role oversees the growth of export counseling and technical assistance to businesses, secures funding, and represents SEDA-COG regionally and beyond.

You will work with state and federal agencies and international trade partners, develop annual work plans, ensure compliance, and lead program staff. A Bachelor's in International Business and 5+ years export experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in an export-related field.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide export counseling and technical assistance to existing and prospective clients.
• Develop and implement annual program work plans.
• Ensure compliance with funding source requirements and contractual obligations.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to program staff.
• Oversee fiscal management, reporting, billing, and contract compliance.

• Complete special projects on time and within budget.

SEDA-Council of Governments, a public development organization serving 11 Central Pennsylvania counties, is seeking a full-time Program Manager for the Export Development Program. The Program Manager is responsible for the oversight and growth of the export development program, including securing funding, providing export counseling and technical assistance to businesses, and representing SEDA-COG throughout the region and beyond. The position works closely with businesses, state and federal agencies, and international trade partners to strengthen export opportunities and economic development initiatives.
