Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC (ProSync) seeks a seasoned export compliance professional to ensure ITAR/EAR compliance for proposed exports, licenses, and international engagements. You will guide program teams and coordinate across security, legal, and contracting to maintain rigorous compliance.

With 3+ years in export compliance, you will review technical data and program documentation, support license submissions, and monitor regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience supporting export compliance or related activities.
• Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to research, interpret, and apply regulatory guidance.
• Active IAT/IAM Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, etc.).
• Minimum Secret clearance with SAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Review proposed exports, foreign disclosures, technical exchanges, and international engagements for compliance with export control regulations.
• Support the preparation, submission, tracking, and management of export license applications and related requests.
• Evaluate technical data and program documentation to determine export control applicability and licensing requirements.
• Provide guidance on ITAR, EAR, and other export compliance requirements to program teams.
• Conduct compliance reviews of activities involving foreign persons and controlled technologies.
• Assist with development and maintenance of export compliance processes and procedures.
• Maintain records supporting export authorization requests and compliance activities.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and assessments related to export control compliance.
• Coordinate with security, legal, contracting, and program management to incorporate regulatory requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on impacts to programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review proposed exports, foreign disclosures, technical exchanges, and international engagements for compliance with applicable export control regulations.
• Support the preparation, submission, tracking, and management of export license applications and related authorization requests.
• Evaluate technical data, program documentation, and system information to determine export control applicability and licensing requirements.
• Provide guidance to program teams, engineers, and stakeholders regarding International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other applicable export compliance requirements.
• Conduct compliance reviews of program activities involving foreign persons, international partners, and controlled technologies.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of export compliance processes, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain records and documentation supporting export authorization requests, approvals, exemptions, and compliance activities.
• Support audits, inspections, and assessments related to export control compliance.
• Coordinate with security, legal, contracting, and program management personnel to ensure regulatory requirements are properly incorporated into operations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and provide recommendations regarding impacts to programs and compliance processes.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and written correspondence related to export compliance activities.
• Assist in identifying potential export control violations and support corrective action and mitigation efforts when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

• Three (3) or more years' experience supporting export compliance, international programs, foreign disclosure, technology transfer, regulatory compliance, or related activities.
• Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and U.S. export control regulations.
• Experience reviewing technical, contractual, or program documentation for export compliance considerations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to research, interpret, and apply regulatory guidance.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Must hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification. (i.e. Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security, CASP+/SecurityX, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCNP Security, CCSP, etc.)
• A minimum Secret security clearance with Special Access Request (SAR) eligibility or higher is required to be considered for this position.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university (OR) an Associate's Degree plus 4 years of additional export compliance experience may be substituted. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of additional export compliance work experience may be substituted.
