Job summary

PSA BDP, headquartered in Philadelphia, is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist, Logistics to ensure compliant export documentation, assist with Schedule B and Export Controls, and support order management. You will review ACE data and monitor import dashboards to track shipments and drive accurate government filings, contributing to efficient global trade operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree not required but highly preferred.
• Prefer at least 2 years of experience handling export trafficking functions with a freight forwarder/broker.
• Prefer 1–3 years of experience in a customer service environment.
• CES Certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review export shipment documentation from customers and suppliers to identify and resolve errors and compliance issues.
• Assist with Schedule B and Export Controls.
• Assist with the purchase order management process.
• Review ACE data.
• Assist with monitoring import dashboard to monitor pending shipments.
• Assist with monthly metrics and quarterly business reports.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement through training, process management, implementing automated solutions and lean procedures.
• Respond to and support internal and external audit findings as they relate to trade and import/export classifications and accurate government filings.
• Determine root cause and corrective actions and coordinate implementation thereof.

• Candidate should have the ability to learn various computer programs.
• Entry writer & break bulk experience a plus.
