Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a skilled Export Compliance Officer for our Structurals - Carson City plant. In this full-time role you will manage ITAR and EAR export controls, process shipments, maintain records, and support license applications to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with logistics, legal, and other stakeholders, review documentation for accuracy, and advise management on compliance risks. A minimum of two years' ITAR/EAR experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with ITAR and EAR regulated goods and trade compliance procedures.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other export/import regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential compliance issues.

Responsibilities

• Comply with PCC Code of Conduct and Export Compliance Manual/Handbook.
• Process routine import and export shipments in compliance with ITAR and EAR.
• Determine export classification and license requirements.
• Collaborate with customer-facing areas to ensure export authorizations exist or documentation is in place for license applications.
• Prepare and submit export license applications; maintain records per ITAR/EAR requirements.
• Assist in managing export licenses and reviewing outbound shipments for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure consistency of import/export procedures across the organization.
• Coordinate with logistics, legal, and shipping to ensure smooth trade operations.
• Support reports and audits related to trade compliance.
