Job summary

Vantor seeks a Senior Manager, Compliance to lead the export controls program from Westminster, CO. The role combines hands-on compliance leadership with cross‑functional collaboration to ensure ITAR/EAR readiness across the organization.

The candidate will classify and author export licenses, work with technical teams on spacecraft programs, and drive continuous improvement of processes while protecting mission-critical customers.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent resident status.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Expert knowledge and experience in ITAR and EAR export license drafting and implementation, and classification.
• Proficiency in DECCS, SNAP-R licensing portals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, enhance, and maintain Vantor’s global Compliance program for export, reexport, transfer, sanctions, and restricted-party compliance.
• Provide senior-level guidance on ITAR, EAR, OFAC, CBP, Census/AES and related requirements affecting products, services, data, and international activities.
• Partner with Security, Contracts, Procurement, Product, Engineering, Sales, Cybersecurity and Legal to embed compliance into planning and execution.
• Develop scalable compliance processes for Vantor’s spatial intelligence platform, ground stations, and cloud environments.
• Function as an export authority for commercial foreign programs and analyze export regulations.
