Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist to support export compliance across Teledyne Defense Electronics sites. The role focuses on licensing, classifications, trade compliance reviews, and day-to-day operations, partnering with Contracts, Engineering, HR, Customs, and leadership to ensure compliant business.

The ideal candidate brings ITAR and EAR knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to guide the business in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of export compliance experience, including responsibility for ITAR and EAR compliance, jurisdiction determinations, and USML/ECCN classifications.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations, including export licensing, restricted party screening, end-use reviews, sanctions programs, and export control requirements.
• Knowledge of OFAC regulations, country-specific sanctions, and export compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with customs regulations, tariff classification, and valuation principles preferred.
• Experience developing, implementing, or supporting trade compliance procedures, processes, and controls.
• Experience preparing and managing export license applications and authorizations.
• Experience with AES and EEI filings.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with Engineering, Contracts, Business Development, HR, Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements and provide practical compliance guidance to the business.
• Strong computer skills; ERP/XA MAPICS experience preferred.
• Ability to travel occasionally, including domestic and international travel.

Responsabilidades

• Provide operational trade compliance guidance to enable compliant transactions.
• Support development and improvement of trade compliance policies and training.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate requirements to leaders.
• Determine jurisdiction and classification (USML/ECCN).
• Conduct restricted party, end-use, and sanctions screening.
• Manage export license applications and license administration.
• Review international travel and visitors for compliance.
• Perform transaction reviews and due diligence.
• Assist in obtaining and managing export licenses.
• Identify compliance risks and assist with investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop trade compliance metrics and support audits.
• Serve as liaison between functions and CITC, Customs, Licensing.
• Address day-to-day questions and support customs activities.
