Job summary

• Strong communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams.

• Familiarity with restaurant POS and management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize incoming food orders from the POS system.
• Coordinate ticket flow between kitchen stations for timely order prep.
• Act as the primary communication link between front-of-house and back-of-house during service.
• Ensure orders are completed in the correct sequence and delivered on time.
• Confirm all items are entered and tracked through the POS system.
• Inspect dishes for quality and presentation before leaving the kitchen.
• Verify plates are garnished, portioned, and prepared per menu specs.
• Set up and maintain an expo station for efficient service.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, food runners, and servers to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with light food preparation or finishing items when required.
