Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a Kitchen Expo team member to ensure timely food preparation and accurate order delivery for dine-in, TueGo, and catering services. You will coordinate with servers and heart-of-house staff to keep orders moving and guest satisfaction high.

You will manage expo presentation, uphold safety standards, and support a cooperative team in a busy environment that handles allergy orders and special requests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to provide friendly guest service.
• Ability to follow food handling and serving regulations.
• Proficient with computers, phones and other equipment.
• Attention to detail with strong time management.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Kitchen Display System (KDS) to keep service flowing and reduce waste.
• Ensure hot foods are hot and cold foods are served at proper temperatures.
• Organize expo area and tickets for efficient service.
• Complete required side work and station upkeep.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area before, during, and after shifts.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle re-cooks and special-order requests, including allergens.
• Expedite food for TueGo, Catering, dining room and bar areas.
• Maintain a friendly, team-based demeanor to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Support service team to create repeat business and minimize complaints.
