Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Expo/Food Runner to coordinate food orders from kitchen to dining area and ensure timely, accurate service. You will inspect dishes for quality, communicate delays between kitchen and floor, and support servers and kitchen staff as needed.

This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail, with the ability to stand long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous expo/food runner experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate the preparation and delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Inspect dishes to ensure quality and presentation before serving.
• Act as a liaison between back-of-house and front-of-house, communicating delays or issues.
• Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed (running food, clearing plates, restocking).
• Maintain a clean and organized expo station, following health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and promptly address guest concerns.
