• Communicate calmly and timelywith kitchen and FOH staff.
• Ensure food meets spec, presentation, and guest modifications.
• Verify plates are served at the right temperature and garnished correctly.
• Account for every item on the ticket and manage course timing.
• Safely store tickets for reference.
• Properly care for equipment and utensils.
• Keep ownkitchen work area organized.
• Follow food rotation procedures.
• Collaborate with servers and bartenders for special guest requests.
• Confirm correct plates for each FOH member.
• Ensure proper order entry in the point of salesystem.
• Take ownership of and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Leave the establishment crumb-free and food-free at closing.

Required Skills Expo / Food Runner Qualifications

• At least one year of restaurant experience
• Must be able to speak, read, writeand understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• Must be able to lift upto 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand and keep active for long periodsof time
