Job summary

Primanti Bros is seeking an Expo team member to support high-volume service. You will coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to tables and the bar area.

The role requires strong English literacy, great communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. This on-site position offers opportunities during peak dining times.

Responsibilities

• Know the menu proficiently for quick service.
• Coordinate with Kitchen for checks and garnishes.
• Communicate clearly with Kitchen regarding orders and timing.
• Maintain attention to detail across all dishes.
• Serve food promptly from Expo area to tables or bar.
• Restock Expo area and prep supplies for shifts.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies throughout shift.
• Complete opening, shift-change, and closing checklists.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Coach.

About the Role

Expo is to work during busy "peak periods" in conjunction with both our kitchen and service department as a link making sure food is made correctly, and getting taken to tables in a timely manner. Ensures quality product is going out at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• 1. Possesses proficient knowledge of the menu.
• 2. Coordinates checks sold from the Kitchen, garnishes food per spec, provides direct & clear communication with Kitchen.
• 3. Possesses enhanced attention to detail characteristics.
• 4. Communicates errors or remakes of dishes efficiently.
• 5. Ensures food from the Expo area is quickly taken to each table or the Bar area.
• 6. Restocks Expo area and prepares supplies for shift change and/or closing shifts.
• 7. Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures throughout shift.
• 8. Completes the opening, shift change, and closing checklists found in multi-colored wall units as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
• 9. Performs other duties as needed per Coach request.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• 1. Ability to write and read the English language.
• 2. Good communication skills, friendly, and people oriented.
• 3. Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
• 4. Possesses basic math skills.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

• 1. Stands 100% of the shift.
• 2. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and wiping.
• 3. Able to deliver food, beverages, and clear tables which may require lifting as much as 50lbs.
