Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Expo position in Salisbury, MD. This role focuses on ensuring timely preparation of food orders per guest requests and Ruby Tuesday recipes, while coordinating with service and kitchen teams to expedite deliveries for TueGo/Catering, dining room, and bar areas.

Responsibilities include operating the KDS, maintaining food quality, organizing expo area, and upholding safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to manage order flow and maintain service pace.
• Ensure hot foods are hot and cold foods are cold and presented well.
• Organize expo area by ticket and station, and perform station maintenance.
• Assist with set-up, cleanliness, and organization of the work area across shifts.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and handle allergen orders as needed.
• Expedite food for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas and support the service team.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly

Job Summary

Expo is responsible for ensuring all food orders are prepared within a timely manner, according to Guest special requests, and Ruby Tuesday recipes. Communicates with service and heart of house teams to expedite all food deliveries for TueGo/Catering, dining room, and bar areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) effectively to maintain the flow of service, control cost/waste, and prepare items to spec and accommodate guest modifications
• Ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation of food items; confirms hot food is hot and cold food is cold.
• Organize the table orders in the expo area according to the tickets.
• Complete specific side work and station maintenance.
• Responsible for the set-up, cleanliness, and organization of the work area before, during, and after every shift.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage the preparation of all re-cooks and special-order requests, including allergen orders.
• Expedite the service of food for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas.
• Maintain a gracious, pleasant and friendly attitude, while contributing to a teamwork-based work environment.
• Support the service team in a way as to create new and repeat business and avoid guest complaints.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular attendance; requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time; frequently required to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs; requires ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature, and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
