Austin Powder is seeking a PETN Manager to oversee production and handling of PETN at our Red Diamond facility. This role ensures safe operations, regulatory compliance, and high-quality output in a sensitive manufacturing environment.

You will manage PETN production processes and personnel, enforce safety and environmental standards, and coordinate with engineering and safety teams on process improvements, with a focus on documentation and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or explosives production experience.
• Expertise in energetic materials and chemical safety.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge (ATF, OSHA, EPA).
• Strong leadership and training abilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage PETN production processes and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ATF regulations.
• Oversee quality control and testing procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering and safety teams on process improvements.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory audits and internal reviews.
• Lead training on safe handling and emergency response; support investigations and corrective actions.
