Job description

Responsibilities

This position provides support for test teams and projects to independently develop, manage, and implement instrumentation plans and methodologies to meet measurement objectives to support DoD testing. The role involves conducting research, development, and integration efforts for DoD to maintain currency in state-of-the-art and emerging/developmental data acquisition systems and sensor technologies across the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) testing spectrum to ensure maximum effectiveness and to fill voids in testing capabilities. The position requires developing and implementing rigorous processes to ensure new sensor and data acquisition technologies are properly investigated and validated prior to introduction into the DoD inventory, as well as developing test plans and methodologies to perform validation and verification testing of existing and emerging measurement diagnostic technologies and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support test teams and projects to independently develop, manage, and implement instrumentation plans and methodologies to meet measurement objectives for DoD testing

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related technical field, and 5 years relevant experience; or, Associates degree and 10 years relevant experience

  • Strong technical knowledge of sensor technologies and data acquisition systems
  • Experience developing test plans and validation methodologies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
