SaidGig seeks a writing-intensive role to assess how AI handles questions about explosives and energetic materials. You will craft prompts, categorize them, and judge model outputs against a strict policy standard while avoiding misuse.
Applicants should have backgrounds in specialty materials chemistry or propulsion engineering and be capable of producing clear, actionable rationales for non-specialists. Remote, per-task engagement.
Help assess how advanced AI systems handle technical questions involving explosives and energetic materials. This writing-intensive role tests whether models can support legitimate professional inquiries while recognizing and refusing requests with genuine misuse potential.
Both of the following expertise profiles are needed: specialty-materials chemists, and engineers or operators with initiation and propulsion-system experience. Relevant backgrounds may include hazardous device specialists or public safety professionals with render-safe and device-assessment experience; specialty materials chemists specializing in pyrotechnics or propulsion formulation, synthesis, and performance testing; federal-certified materials specialists or incident analysts with forensic identification and scene-analysis experience; propulsion and effects engineers with munitions or propulsion-system design experience; and commercial blasting engineers with materials handling, storage, and transport experience.
Prior AI evaluation or red-teaming experience is preferred.
Technical writing, incident or post-blast reporting, published research, or expert-witness experience is strongly valued.
Please include a writing sample or link with your application.
Remote, per-task engagement.
The work involves sustained reading and writing about potential misuse scenarios in this field. Experts are briefed in advance and may pause or step away at any time without penalty.
Compensation is 65 to 75 per task.
Work must not involve or rely on classified information, export-controlled information, material covered by an NDA, or material subject to prepublication review. Candidates with these obligations may still be eligible if they disclose them during application so the work can be appropriately scoped.
