Job summary

Austin Powder seeks a Booster Operator to safely and efficiently execute manufacturing processes in the Booster Department. You will handle explosive materials, operate specialized equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential for independent work in a high-risk environment. The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and a valid driver’s license, with preferred experience in explosive/chemical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or explosive/chemical handling preferred.
• Must meet all state and federal explosive laws and qualify as an ATF explosive processor.

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs related to packaging and handling explosive products.
• Inspect manufactured products for quality and accuracy.
• Identify and report hazards in the production area.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing vehicles as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including PPE use.
• Perform other duties as assigned by area lead, supervisor, or department manager.
