Job summary

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is seeking a dedicated Cargo Screening K9 Handler to join our security team as part of an explosive detection canine program in the United States. The role emphasizes screening operations and thorough record-keeping for training and enforcement activities.

The successful candidate will house, care for, and maintain the assigned canine, ensuring welfare and readiness for missions, while complying with all regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

• Citizen or national of the United States is required.
• Able to pass TSA Security Threat Assessment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license (Real ID) and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must obtain TSA Pre-Check.
• Read, write and understand English well enough to follow instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Exercise sound judgment in all areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening operations for explosive and other hazardous materials with a trained Explosive Detection Canine.
• Maintain administration records for work and training.
• Care for housing, welfare, and training of assigned canine.
• Maintain daily records and reports related to operations and canine welfare.
