Job summary

Lilly Catalyze360 is seeking an ExploR&D Program Lead to drive external collaboration programs spanning discovery through clinical proof-of-concept. You will define strategy, forecast resources, and manage large, cross-functional teams to deliver complex programs on time and on budget.

You will guide study design, synthesize cross-functional data, and liaise with regulators and external partners to advance multiple indications and modalities within ExploR&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or a STEM-related field.
• 5+ years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including preclinical‑translational sciences and/or clinical‑stage drug development, across modalities such as cell and gene therapies, antibodies, peptides, oligonucleotides, vaccines, and small molecules.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple collaboration teams comprising ExploR&D personnel and external biotech collaborators, translating strategic objectives into executable plans.
• Synthesize technical information from literature, experts, and trial data to guide study design and program strategy.
• Serve as primary liaison between Lilly and external biotech collaborators, aligning goals and maintaining open communication.
• Contribute to diligence and workplan development, drive operational excellence and process improvements across portfolio delivery.
