Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; US work authorization.
• 7+ years in business development, contracting, or R&D consulting.
• Advanced life sciences degree preferred (PhD/PharmD/MS).
• Experience negotiating agreements with external biotech, pharma, or life sciences.
• Drafting, redlining, and executing contracts with strong terms.
• Manage multiple concurrent contracts with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end negotiation of consultation agreements with biotech partners across preclinical and development matters.
• Move a high volume of agreements through negotiation to signature efficiently.
• Interface with biotechs, translating scientific scope into commercial terms.
• Collaborate with ExploR&D leadership to structure consultations.
• Draft, redline, and finalize consultation agreements with Legal input.
• Define deliverables and responsibilities with scientists.
• Manage deal tracking, pipeline visibility, and cycle-time discipline.
