Job summary

The ExploR&D Pharma Project Manager (EPPM) within Lilly's ExploR&D organization coordinates cross-functional, multi-workstream timelines and risk grids to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of external collaboration programs. This role partners with Molecule Discovery and ERD-APAC teams, driving alliance management and program updates for External Innovation leadership.

Based in San Diego, the EPPM enables operational excellence and process improvements, guiding SMEs and leadership through risks

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biology or health-related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including drug discovery and R&D.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional program timelines, risk grids, and decision logs.
• Lead internal project team meetings with program leads and scientific leads.
• Oversee budgets and timelines for high-complexity programs and alliances.
