The ideal candidate is proficient with band saws, slicers, cubers, grinders, and knives for cutting all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken. The role includes wrapping, sanitation, and safety duties in a full-time position with weekend and holiday work; benefits are optional.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken in a grocery store meat market environment.
• Proficient with band saws, slicers, cubers, grinders, and knives for cutting meat.
• Ability to wrap, package and label products while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, grinding, slicing, trimming, weighing, sealing, packaging and labeling product.
• Unload trucks and store products properly; check dates and rotate stock.
• Sanitize and clean equipment; keep meat department floors clean.
• Assist customers in finding products and service them at the counter.
