Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–10 years experience with horizontal boring machines.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Must maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling/turning machines using required tooling.
• Read work orders and select proper work center and tooling.
• Install tooling such as jaws, chucks, fixtures and cutting tools.
• Use gauges and precision instruments to verify tolerances.
• Clean burrs and ensure safe tool operation.
• Train other employees on machine tools and operations.
• Maintain tool safety and PPE compliance.
