Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Rental Field Technician II to provide high quality repair service on equipment, respond to customer needs in a positive, caring and timely manner, and ensure maximum value for work performed.

You will complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times, remove and install parts, diagnose problems, and mentor Rental team members. Travel up to 20% may be required; this is a safety sensitive position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3–5 years related experience.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Effective communication with customers, clients and employees.
• Provide accurate information to management for quoting.
• Obtain or currently possess adequate tooling to perform duties.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Must be certified in air-conditioning.
• Complete Work Steps assessment successfully.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job accurately and timely.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems; advise on repairs and make critical rentals and engine repairs.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Apply general failure analysis and procedures to determine proper diagnosis.
• Mentor Rental team members.
