Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to maintain cleanliness in assigned buildings. Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor cleaning, and general upkeep of public areas.

You will follow established safety procedures, use germicidal solutions, and perform tasks during shifts with attention to detail, reliability, and a focus on guest comfort. Training provided; prior janitorial experience helpful.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• Perform high dusting around rooms and fixtures.
• Sanitize surfaces and spot-clean fingerprints and smudges.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restrooms.
• Empty trash, replace liners and manage waste.
• Dust mop and vacuum floors, clean under furniture.
• Maintain public areas and food court cleanliness.
• Follow safety instructions and report issues to supervisor.
