Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking an Expert Category Engineer to serve as the technical anchor for an assigned category across multiple factories. You will translate strategy into executable engineering solutions while aligning with Innovation & Renovation initiatives, compliance, and sustainability goals.

You will collaborate with Factory Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, and Operations Strategy to drive engineering excellence and capital project execution within the category.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of technical/project engineering experience.
• Experience with manufacturing technologies, process systems, and engineering standards.
• Knowledge of EFCA, hygienic design, and risk management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction for assigned manufacturing technologies across the category.
• Translate business/engineering strategies into executable plans and roadmaps.
• Drive process optimization, reliability, and safety improvements across factories.
• Coordinate with Factory Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, and Operations Strategy.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé engineering policies and governance.
