Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking an Expert Category Engineer to act as the technical anchor for an assigned category, translating strategy into executable engineering solutions across multiple factories. You will align with Innovation & Renovation initiatives, ensure compliance, and drive technology roadmaps.

The role emphasizes leadership, process capability development, and collaboration with sister teams to optimize safety, quality, and cost performance across Nestlé’s manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering field is required.
• Significant experience in technical project engineering and category/engineering leadership.
• Experience with hygiene design and regulatory/compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering standards and technology deployment across the category network.
• Coordinate with Factory Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
• Develop feasibility studies, cost estimates, and implementation strategies for I&R projects.
• Drive process reliability, safety, and cost improvements across factories.
