Job summary

LaunchDarkly is hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to an experimentation platform. You will build scalable services with Go and RESTful APIs, and front-end experiences with React and TypeScript.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, feature delivery, and reliability. You’ll own parts of projects, grow technical expertise, and help improve system quality while staying aligned with the team’s vision for data-driven experimentation at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building full stack web applications.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node, and Go is preferred but not required.
• Experience with cloud platforms and building scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions for experimentation and data-driven products.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on architectural decisions impacting scalability and performance.
• Lead limited scope features from definition to deployment.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues and help optimize reliability.
• Work with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers to implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews to support code quality and provide feedback.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code enhancing readability of systems.
• Improve observability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, coordinating with customer support as needed.
• Collaborate across functions to align priorities and improve team workflows.
• Learn from senior engineers and contribute to a culture of growth and inclusion.
• Stay current with industry trends in software development, experimentation, and backend technologies.
• Demonstrate curiosity and proactive problem-solving.
