Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a detail-oriented manufacturing support specialist to create routings for experimental builds, manage inventory, and coordinate material transfers. The role involves generating fabrication programs, reviewing prints, and preparing regular reports using Excel.

You will work with SAP, CREO, AutoCAD, and other tools to troubleshoot part and program issues and ensure smooth production flow. Strong Excel, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings/prints.
  • Experience with CREO and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit manufacturing routings for experimental builds.

  • Transfer stock between departments and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding material transfers.
  • Coordinate with Supply Management on purchased parts and stock availability.
  • Prepare and update daily and weekly reports using Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Occasionally design and model simple parts for shop use.
  • Troubleshoot part requests from engineers.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with laser programs and manufacturing routings.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to support experimental manufacturing operations. This role involves creating routings, managing inventory, coordinating material transfers, and troubleshooting part and program issues to ensure smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Required
  • Associate degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing/Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings/prints.
  • Experience with CREO and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices.
  • High level of computer literacy and comfort with technology.
  • Must show proficiency with Excel - Pivot, VLOOKUP.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and other fabrication processes.
Notes
  • Shift: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday (Flexible start at 6:00 AM)
  • Overtime: Possible based on business needs
