The Penn State Applied Research Laboratory is seeking a skilled Experimental Machinist Fabricator to perform intricate machining operations and fabrications. Candidates must possess strong technical skills, including CNC operation and advanced mathematics, and have a proven track record with over 5 years of experience. The role offers opportunities to work closely with engineers to develop new and innovative designs.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State Applied Research Laboratory is searching for a full time Experimental Machinist Fabricator to join their team. Duties include:
Job Requirements: Requires the use of advanced shop mathematics, together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, handbook formulas, all varieties of adjustable measuring instruments and the use of broad training in a recognized trade or craft. Equivalent to a complete accredited, indentured apprenticeship or equivalent to high school plus a 2-year technical college education. Over 5 years of effective experience.
Candidates selected will be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
Work Schedule: 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Days Off: Saturday, Sunday
