Job summary

Discovery Ranch South is seeking a part-time mentor to support teenage girls in a therapeutic, experiential setting near Cedar City, Utah. You will lead and participate in activities such as horseback riding, skiing, hiking, and rock climbing to foster trust and healing.

Candidates should be 19+, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, be eligible to work in the USA, and pass background and motor vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Age 19+
• Eligible to work in the USA
• Utah driver’s license (within 30 days)
• Pass background check
• Pass motor vehicle record check
• Able to work in various weather conditions
• Physical demands: walking, running, lifting, hiking, animal activities

Responsibilities

• Support teenage girls in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey.
• Build rapport with students through experiential therapy activities (horseback riding, rock climbing, hiking).
• Work collaboratively with a team to ensure safe, supportive care.
