Job summary

Salt XC is a full-service agency based in Austin, TX, seeking an Account Executive to support the account management team on small to medium programs and larger teams on bigger projects.

The role requires strong communication, nimble production, and creative problem-solving, with occasional in-field work and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will help manage budgets, build client relationships, and contribute to delivering high-quality campaigns.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in the experiential marketing industry.
• 1-3 years' experience in event production and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders on projects (creative, design, digital).
• Experience collaborating with external stakeholders on projects (vendors, brand ambassadors, venues).
• Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage program budgets.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of consumer behaviours and industry trends.
• Strong foundational technology skills – familiarity with O365, social & digital media.

Responsibilities

• Executing with excellence on behalf of the clients; work in-field, or in the office as required.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and relay to manager and team.
• Maintain updated knowledge of client products and services; identify industry trends.
• Collect and analyze data to learn about consumer behaviour before programs and after.
• Act as an extension of the client through planning, execution and wrap up.
• Collaborate with team and partners to fulfill client needs and manage budgets.
• Support Salt team in budgeting and expense management; stay on budget.
• Liaise with manager regularly on client updates and activities.
• Train and manage Brand Ambassadors and Coordinators where applicable.
• Develop experience with Salt's pricing model and client budget tools.
