Job summary

Kennesaw State University seeks an experienced professional to manage and promote internships, fellowships, co-ops, service-learning, and studio-based experiential learning opportunities. You will work across campus partners to connect students, faculty, and employers and support career readiness.

Responsibilities include reviewing opportunities, tracking participation, delivering programming, and maintaining data to inform program evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Two years of experience in higher education programming or a closely related field.
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Knowledge of experiential learning programs and career readiness.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and manage multiple tasks with deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary contact for students exploring experiential learning opportunities including internships, fellowships, co-ops, service-learning and on-campus positions.
  • Reviews, approves, and manages experiential learning opportunities in line with institutional guidelines and eligibility criteria.
  • Tracks student participation, processes forms, and manages deadlines.
  • Engages with employers to understand internship and co-op opportunities, application processes and timelines.
  • Collaborates with campus departments, faculty, and student organizations to promote experiential learning opportunities.
  • Develops and delivers experiential learning programming, including workshops and classroom sessions.
  • Designs presentations to guide students and employers on experiential learning requirements and career readiness.
  • Audits platforms and resources to improve usability and engagement among students and staff.
  • Tracks and reports participation data and prepares program evaluation reports.
