  • Prepare and deliver presentations and collateral for events.
  • Collect and analyze program activity data; prepare reports and evaluations.
  • Coordinate social media presence and program outreach as needed.
  • Supervise and/or lead assigned staff and student assistants.

Job Summary

Plans and implements program initiatives for assigned college, department, or unit. Generates program resources, oversees communication, designs operating goals, and provides technical, professional, and programmatic guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan, and coordinate implementation and execution of programs, special projects, events, and other initiatives designed to achieve mission, goals, and objectives of assigned programs or departments.
  • Oversee and administer day‑to‑day operations of the assigned program(s) and/or department(s).
  • Serve as liaison with internal and external clients on all matters related to program and department activities.
  • Provide, administer, or coordinate technical guidance, consultation, and related support to clientele within program focus.
  • Assist with forecast projections and budget for each fiscal year and evaluate progress toward financial goals, including management of the purchasing card (PCard) if applicable.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and collateral for program or department events.
  • Coordinate and administer collection, compilation, and analysis of program activity data; prepare comprehensive program reports and evaluation summaries.
  • Coordinate social media presence and program outreach as needed.
  • Supervise and/or lead assigned staff and student assistants.
Required Qualifications
  • Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
  • Experience: One (1) year of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred Educational Qualification: Advanced degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
  • Preferred Experience: Prior experience with program development and coordination and/or experience in higher education.

Abilities
  • Ability to devise, develop, collect and analyze statistical information and reports.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
  • Ability to make administrative and/or procedural decisions and judgments.
Knowledge
  • Demonstrated professional knowledge and operational expertise within the designated program focus area.
Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem‑solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with computer applications and programs, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow‑up skills, customer service skills, and phone and e‑mail etiquette.

  • This is not a supervisory position.
  • Position does not require financial responsibilities or a purchasing card (PCard).
  • Position does not require driving.
  • Role is considered a position of trust.
  • Travel requirement: 1% – 24% of the time.
  • Position does not require security clearance.
