Job summary

Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee is seeking an on-site ELC Assistant to support JA BizTown and JA Finance Park simulations in Nashville. You will emcee student/volunteer trainings and help ensure a high-quality learning experience for teachers, students and volunteers.

Part-time role (18-24 hours/week during the school year). The position involves setup/reset of the Experiential Learning Center, inventory monitoring, basic technical support, and light administrative tasks for ELC Managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong public speaking and ability to lead large groups.
• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working with children/teens preferred.
• Self-motivated with customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Conversational Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Emcee on-site simulation and trainings for students and volunteers (50-150 people).
• Maintain instructional excellence for teachers, volunteers and students.
• Assist with setup and reset of the ELC for visits and trainings.
• Monitor inventory of simulation supplies.
• Provide basic technical support for simulation issues.
• Assist ELC Managers with administrative tasks as needed.
