Job summary

Jack Morton Worldwide Inc. is seeking an experienced Event Manager to coordinate group meetings, conventions, trade shows, and corporate events.

You will manage venue sourcing, housing, registration, attendee communications, budgets, onsite delivery, and post-event reconciliation. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams, oversee multi-room housing blocks, negotiate with hotels, and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience executing meetings, events, projects, programs, or training initiatives.
• Proficiency with event registration software (Cvent) and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret business publications, regulations, and procedures; prepare reports and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings, conventions, trade shows, training sessions, and corporate events.
• Serve as liaison among clients, suppliers, venues, housing partners, attendees, and internal stakeholders.
• Define attendance projections, housing requirements, meeting space, F&B, audiovisual, travel, and registration details.
• Lead venue research, site selection, and contracting within budgets.
• Maintain budgets, track spend, and generate management reports.
• Oversee registration, invitations, communications, sponsorship activities, and attendee relations.
