24 Seven Talent in Camden, NJ seeks an experienced Design Build Manager to lead the technical design and engineering functions for experiential environments, retail displays, exhibitions, branded activations, and interactive installations.

The role combines team leadership, creative problem solving, and hands-on technical oversight to transform concepts into fabrication-ready solutions. 5 days in-office; salary $100,000–$120,000 with benefits, bonus, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in design engineering, industrial design, architecture, fabrication, product development, experiential design, or related discipline.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing engineers, designers, or other technical professionals.
• Advanced ability in 3D modeling, CAD, technical design, and production-ready documentation.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, assemblies, tolerances, manufacturing methods, transportation, and installation.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of design engineers, setting priorities and reviewing work.
• Translate creative concepts into detailed designs, 3D models, assemblies, drawings, specifications, and documentation for fabrication and installation.
• Provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle from early design through production and installation.
• Evaluate materials, construction methods, tolerances, fastening, finishes, transport, and installation conditions.
• Review models, drawings, and technical packages for accuracy, completeness, manufacturability, and adherence to requirements.
• Collaborate with design, project management, fabrication, production, engineering, and creative technology teams to solve technical challenges.
• Partner with fabricators and outside specialists to resolve production issues and refine designs.
• Support prototype development, fabrication reviews, shop visits, site visits, and installations as needed.
• Manage competing project priorities, timelines, team capacity, and technical risks across multiple projects.
• Develop and improve engineering workflows, documentation standards, quality-control practices, templates, and shared resources.
• Explore new materials, tools, fabrication methods, and technologies to strengthen design and production capabilities.
