Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks an Experiential Artistic Director to lead high-concept design across all event productions, shaping visual storytelling and premium aesthetics. You will oversee Capex, evaluate asset purchases, and mentor a design team to sustain artistic integrity from concept to installation.

You'll collaborate with technical directors and fabricators to translate designs into build-ready parameters, stay ahead of global trends, and maintain the creative standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Theatrical Production, Scenic Design, Fine Arts, Experiential/Environmental Design, or closely related field.
• 7+ years of experience in high-end event production, creative direction, or experiential design.
• Master-level portfolio demonstrating exceptional high-concept design and immersive storytelling.
• Experience with capex budgets, asset acquisition, and evaluating business cases for creative investments.
• Leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain visual storytelling direction and premium aesthetic standards for all event productions.
• Lead initial concept stages, translating client objectives into immersive environmental designs.
• Evaluate long-term capital purchases and event technologies for strategic ROI.
• Direct and inspire the Creative Producer team with coaching and critique.
• Develop and present creative visions and renderings to executives and premier clients.
• Collaborate with Technical Directors and Fabricators to translate designs into build-ready parameters.
• Monitor trends and technologies to keep offerings at the forefront of the industry.
