Job summary

OWA Tropic Hideaway RV Resort in Foley, AL is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to plan and execute daily, weekly, and seasonal activities and to promote events through flyers and social media. Qualifications

• 1–2 years in hospitality, event planning, public recreation or resort ops.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional communication skills with an outgoing personality.
• Highly organized, capable of multitasking, comfortable speaking to large groups.
• Valid driver's license.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain on hire.
• Flexible schedule for nights, weekends and peak holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily, weekly and seasonal activities.
• Promote events via flyers, social media and guest communications.
• Build relationships with guests to encourage participation.
• Coordinate holiday celebrations, themed events, tournaments, crafts, bingo, movie nights and other resort activities.
• Set up, oversee and clean up events.
• Manage activity inventory within budget.
• Ensure a safe, enjoyable and inclusive environment for all guests.
• Work with all resort departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
