Essential Functions:

• Operate the flat laser.
• Load sheets in the computer from the scheduler.
• Verifies for proper dimensions and operation of the laser cutter, and monitors for correct cut condition.
• Move torch head to proper place for correct cutting.
• Load and unload metal sheets as needed.
• Grind parts as needed.
• Performs inspection of parts; evaluates work to determine if it is high quality/acceptable.
• Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Communicates to co-workers and other team members in an effective way.
