Job summary

ndenergyservices is hiring a Workover Rig Floorhand. You will work with a small crew performing maintenance on oil and gas wells, operate mud pumps, and assist with rigging and daily maintenance. The role requires physical endurance and strict safety adherence.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading pipe, ensuring equipment readiness, and reporting incidents to the Rig Supervisor. Must pass drug and background checks and be able to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous workover experience required.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair oil & gas wells with a small crew.
• Operate mud pump and related equipment.
• Load/unload pipe and latch tubing on elevators.
• Assist with rigging up/down and on-site maintenance.
• Attend daily safety meetings and follow policies.
• Report incidents to Rig Supervisor.
• Work in all weather conditions and environments.

Job description

A Workover Rig Floorhand is responsible for all activities conducted on the workover rig floor by performing but not limited to the following duties:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Works with a three to five person crew performing maintenance and repairs on oil & gas wells
• Responsible for operating the mud pump, pipe wranglers, mixing fluids and performing equipment upkeep
• Picks up/lays down pipe and latches tubing in elevators
• Assists in loading and off-loading pipe and other items
• Manages tools on the workover rig floor and assists in daily maintenance
• Assists with rigging up and rigging down the workover rig
• Works in the shop or assists in NDES Yard maintenance when necessary
• Assists in repairs and preparing workover rig for deployment when necessaryAttends and participates in daily and monthly safety meetings
• Understand and comply with company, customer, and health/safety policies, and any other regulations that are required
• Report any and all incidents immediately to Rig Supervisor
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Performs other duties as directed by management

Work Environment

This job operates in an outside environment. The role routinely works in all weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position that typically works a 14 day on/7 day off rotation. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work (including holidays) as job duties demand.

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Class A or B CDL preferred

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous workover experience required
