Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Partner for the Mt. Laurel, New Jersey office. The attorney will handle WC matters, perform legal research, draft pleadings, and represent clients in hearings alongside senior attorneys.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school, NJ bar admission, and about 5 years of WC experience; proficiency with ProLaw, Excel, and e-document tools is preferred. This is a hybrid position with in-office time initially.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey state court.
• 5 years of Workers’ Compensation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with New Jersey Rules of Court, NJ Federal Rules of Court, Rules of Evidence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on WC issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain billable hours as necessary.
• Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
• Assist in motion practice, conferences, and trial when required.
