Evans & Dixon LLC in Omaha, NE is seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney with 5 to 7+ years of experience and strong litigation and administrative skills to join our Omaha office.

You will work with a team of attorneys, gain exposure to state and federal courts in the Midwest, perform legal research, and handle depositions, mediations, and court appearances while mentoring is available. This is a fast-paced, professional environment with growth opportunities.

Competenze

• Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Nebraska law license or ability to become licensed in Nebraska.
• Defense experience preferred, but not required.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and staff as a team.
• Conduct legal research and stay current with workers' compensation developments.
• Interact with clients on a daily basis and build connections.
• Handle depositions, mediations, conferences between claimants and judges, and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.

Formazione

Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school

Active Nebraska law license or ability to obtain

Defense experience preferred
