Hollywood Casino & Hotel in Missouri seeks an experienced Wok Cook for a 5:00 pm–1:30 am shift. Pay is $21.00 per hour with benefits including medical/dental/vision, Uber access, tuition reimbursement, discounts, and diversity scholarships.

The role focuses on high-volume Asian cuisine preparation with strong emphasis on sanitation, speed, and teamwork. Ideal candidates are 21+ with 1–2 years of relevant experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to work any day or shift, including

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• 1–2 years experience in high-volume food service operation, Asian cuisine preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and equipment maintenance.
• Able to work any day/shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Able to stand for long periods and tolerate smoke, noise and bright lights.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items as directed, ensuring uniform and consistent output.
• Prepares hot entrees for Asian dishes to specification in a timely manner.
• Controls food production, cooking methods, times, temperatures, sanitation, handling and storage.
• Demonstrates knowledge of perishables and maintains quality, security, and integrity.
• Oversees care, storage, use, and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Communicates effectively with service and kitchen maintenance staff.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary assigned station per standards.

As an Experienced Wok Cook, you will:

Pay: $21.00 per hour | Shift: 5:00 pm - 1:30 am

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items as directed, ensuring each order sent out is uniform and consistent.
• Prepares food, including hot entrees for our Asian dishes, to specification in an accurate and timely manner to provide guests with a quality product.
• Controls food production to include proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature, ensuring sanitation, handling and storage of prepared food and Prepares leftovers.
• Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity.
• Oversees proper care, storage, use and cleaning of all tools and equipment.
• Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity.
• Effectively communicates with other team members, including service and kitchen maintenance personnel.
• Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions.

Requirements

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in high volume food service operation/preparation is preferred (Asian Cuisine preferred).
• Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and/or entire shift.
• Be able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
