Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician III in Deming, NM to maintain and troubleshoot wind turbines, ensuring reliable power for local communities. You will work with a cross-functional team, follow safety protocols, and document procedures.

Requirements include 3+ years in wind, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and BST/BTT/ART training as noted. The role offers a 7am-3:30pm shift with potential overtime and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years wind experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license.
• Able to read and follow English instructions; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with your team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols, perform safety inspections, and cultivate a culture of safety.
• Collaborate with your team to improve turbine performance, share best practices, and support change initiatives.
• Document your work thoroughly and propose improvements to work instructions and operational processes.
• Support specialty projects (e.g., crane work, CIM) and provide mentorship to junior technicians.
