Glass Flooring Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder / Shop Fabricator to join our fabrication team in Sparta, New Jersey.

The ideal candidate reads fabrication drawings, lays out work accurately, and produces high-quality finished assemblies for custom architectural projects. You will MIG and TIG weld, fabricate steel, stainless steel and aluminum, and work with project managers and engineers on complex builds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years welding and metal fabrication experience
• Strong MIG welding skills; TIG experience desirable
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Ability to read shop drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances
• Strong layout and measuring skills
• Ability to fabricate from drawing through final assembly
• Experience with architectural or high-finish metal fabrication is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues and think through custom work
• Dependable, organized, and able to work with limited supervision
• Commitment to producing clean, professional-quality work

Full-Time | Experienced Position

Glass Flooring Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder / Shop Fabricator to join our fabrication team in Sparta, New Jersey.

We are looking for a skilled, dependable fabricator who can work independently, read fabrication drawings, accurately lay out work, and produce high-quality finished assemblies. Our projects are custom and architectural in nature, so attention to detail and pride in workmanship are extremely important.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components

This position is best suited for someone who considers themselves a fabricator first—not simply a production welder. Many of our projects are custom, and we need someone who can look at a drawing, understand what needs to be built, determine the fabrication sequence, and produce a finished product they are proud to put their name on.

Experience with architectural metalwork, railings, stairs, structural frames, glass-support systems, or other custom fabrication would be especially valuable.
