Fives North American Combustion, Inc. is hiring a full-time welder for our facility in Cuyahoga Heights, OH. The role involves welding metal parts using gas and arc processes, performing cutting and grinding, and repairing components to meet exact specifications.

Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years of related experience, high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to work in heavy manufacturing. D1 or related certifications are preferred and familiarity with blueprints is required.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required, 5-10 years preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions, and diagrams.
• D1 certification or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welds metal parts using gas and arc welding processes.
• Performs thermal cutting and grinding as needed.
• Repairs cracked parts and prepares components for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts to specification.
• Reads blueprints and verifies dimensions.
• Maintains quality standards and safety procedures.
