Job summary

AWC Frac Technology in Morgantown, WV is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. This labor-intensive, hands-on role focuses on welding and repairing frac-related equipment, requiring experience with multiple welding processes.

Candidates must have 5+ years welding experience, a high school diploma, and comfort working outdoors with heavy machinery. Overtime and weekend availability may be required, and safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• 5+ years welding experience required.
• Knowledge of SAW preferred and other welding processes.
• High school diploma or equivalent; welding schooling valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform production and repair welding on valves and frac equipment
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding specifications and drawings
• Maintain accurate records of completed work
• Safely operate grinders, saws, plasma cutters, and flame-cutting tools
• Use lifting equipment such as overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts
• Monitor welding supply inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment
• Perform additional duties as assigned
