About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder with extensive experience in welding stainless steel materials to join our Fabrication Team. The role involves ensuring all welding-related tasks are performed according to blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in stainless steel welding, proficiency in GTAW/TIG welding of stainless steel and Inconel hardware, and GMAW/MIG welding skills. The candidate should also be willing to share knowledge, improve processes, and accept constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW/TIG welding of stainless steel, Inconel, and other hardware with precision.
• Utilize GMAW/MIG welding techniques as required.
• Prepare materials by cutting, blending, chamfering, and cleaning to ensure proper fit-up and weld quality.
• Fit-up and weld stainless steel piping according to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers on design and provide input on feasibility and manufacturability.
• Interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols to complete tasks accurately.
• Use hand tools, mechanical tools, and fabrication equipment effectively.
• Maintain attention to detail and uphold quality standards in welding operations.
• Keep accurate records of welding activities, including logs and inspection reports.
• Assist with material handling and job staging for workflow efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operate forklifts or other equipment safely for material movement.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on new techniques and technologies.
• Support team members with technical guidance and share expertise.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform any additional tasks to meet company and stakeholder needs.
• Work during Enexor's fabrication hours, typically 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekend work as required, which are conditions of employment.
