Job summary

ARIZONA WATER COMPANY in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking an entry-level Utility Worker I to assist the water distribution team. You will support meter change-outs, water main and service repairs, and storage tank maintenance, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

You must have a high school diploma and a valid Arizona driver's license; pipefitting or construction aptitude is preferred. Overtime may be required for emergencies or planned projects as directed by UW III/IV.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate with strong mechanical/pipefitting/construction aptitude.
• Pipefitting or construction experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with general maintenance of the water distribution system including meter change-outs, water main and water service repair/replacement, and storage tank maintenance.
• W orks independently on property maintenance, customer notifications, and other duties not requiring continuing direction.
