Qualifications

• Virginia Bar admission is required; DC and MD bar admissions are helpful.
• At least two years of personal injury experience.
• Familiarity with civil procedure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Actively review cases in pre-litigation and ensure medical records are received and investigations are complete.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and staff members.
• Evaluate cases, including potential for resolution and need for litigation.
• Represent clients in circuit and general district court proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Negotiate settlements for clients.
• Handle administrative and management functions related to the practice.
